Skye Schillhammer and I went to Moscow, ID a couple weeks ago to get some of the last fall colors.

I took the camera to a local cross race...

My friends were at a cross race today out at Riverside park and I decided to check it out. I ate omelets and had a few tasters at the Elephant tent thanks to John Speare and Glen Copas. Then I took the camera out and got a little carried away with shooting the old men’s race as my buddy Jake put it.

This morning the chickens were locked out of their house (my bad) and decided to stay outside and walk around till the sun came up. Rimrock to me has to be one of the best places to watch the sun come up over Spokane.

N8R’s funeral was up at Mt. Hood this weekend- to see so many people mourn due to loosing such a great soul was one of the saddest things I’ve ever witnessed. You’ll be missed so much Nathan Lenzi.

Fort George Wright cemetery happens to be a place I visit a couple times a week to take the dog down below it to go swimming and a good place to drop into for some good single track along the Spokane River.

I went to the Spokane Fair this weekend for the first time and probably haven’t been to a fair since I played baseball in Jr. high- I really didn’t realize all the different walks of life the Spokane area has to offer. The livestock zone was my favorite area to wander. Next year I’d like to get more then one day in to get the full effect.

seeing the past play again

I was visiting Portland this past week and was able to get taken back into the past- seeing my friend Melvin gathering up his old records and playing some nasty electro. He’s always had the sickest style and sound when it comes to Electro- his small tweaks and smooth transitions from record to record is pretty dope to observe. I would call him a technician and it seems to be coming back quickly for him

One of my favorite places to hang out in the evening in Spokane- The Spokane Polo Club. The light is so amazing up there in the summer time.

I was at the store buying some batteries for my flashes and thought it would be good also to buy the band I was photographing some beer. So once I arrived they were already getting a couple in and who knows how many they had put back before I showed up. Well, this is what you get when beer gets involved with a photo shoot. This is Toy Garden and they like beer… They are in the Inlander this week, check em’ out.

Last Saturday I took some people to the Cottage Cafe to see what they thought of the food. 2 out of 4 of us walked out with stomach issues. 3 out of 4 of us said the food wasn’t that great (grease content pretty high). I thought mine was ok but I am like a goat. We complained about the the cottage fries being old and hard as rocks and they asked if we would want more of them but we already had a table with 2 plates are ready loaded with em- I wouldn’t think they’d change how they made em.
